BK Medical is very committed to minimizing its environmental impact through its operations and production.

We are always looking for ways to reduce waste, promote recycling and use energy more efficiently.

Did You Know That:

• Some of our scanners use less than half as much energy as most similarly sized scanners.
• We have designed our scanners to have significantly less fan noise, to minimize the impact on the work environment.
• The metal in our Focus family of scanners can be melted down and reused.
• We have changed our packaging from plastic to degradable cardboard wherever we can.
• Our documentation is now electronic wherever possible, thus saving paper.
• Our total CO2 emission has been reduced by 189 tons from 2008 to 2009. We have achieved this by making changes to our heating system as well as by implementing several internal energy-saving measures.
