Speckle reduction and better organ definition with IQPAC enhanced images.
What is IQPAC:
IQPAC technology improves the quality of ultrasound images.
IQPAC combines two advanced BK Medical technologies: Angular compound imaging (ACI) and Enhanced Tissue definition (ETD). ACI and ETD technology enhance an image's tissue structure, vessel border and suppress speckle. The result is sharper ultrasound images, with reduced speckle and better organ definition.
How it works:
ETD technology reduces speckle noise to smooth out potential irregularities in an image. ETD does this through a special speckle suppression algorithm, which continuously analyses an ultrasound image for irregularities and then smoothes them out without loss of frame rate. The result is an optimized image with an improved anatomically correct continuous border, so you have an improved ability to visualize lesion margins without speckle noise.
ACI technology gives you images with better organ definition by reducing the presence of artifacts, shadowing and speckle. ACI takes an ultrasound look at anatomy from up to 5 different angles, and then compounds these images into a single, improved image. Since ACI views the anatomy from different angles it improves image quality and enhance anatomical structures during acquisition. Go back |
